2012 Surf Trip - Blue Point Villas – Bali, Indonesia
Well folks, we had to skip 2011 so to make up for it – looks like the 2012 Annual HMSO Surf Trip will be to Blue Point Villas located in Bali.If you have ever watched “Morning of the Earth” or anything with the cast of characters from the 1970’s when surfing was in it’s heyday and exploration & discovery era then you know Bali.If you haven’t seen “Morning of the Earth” then go get a copy and you’ll understand.
Bali is the perfect chain of waves and this resort is on the cliffs overlooking the famous break “Racetrack” which is part of Uluwatu.All the rooms overlook the Indian Ocean and this is a luxurious location with all the pleasures you can dream of on a surf trip.It would cost you more to go from Los Angeles to Oahu to surf if you are stateside and for those of us on Oahu, the trip is convenient and easy just the same.
The resort features three swimming pools, gourmet chow, and all the comfort items expected of a first class resort anywhere in the world.This one just happens to have the best view in the world!If the surf burns you out or you want to explore Bali, then this location is the best place to start from.There is plenty to do in Indo both in & out of the water.
We have a professional surf photographer (with in water & out of water professional Canon equipment) coming on the trip with us and all the photographs will be free of charge to active HMSO Members!

Our timeframe is relatively open for now but we are looking at the last quarter of 2012 for this trip.
If you are interested and a current member of HMSO – then let me know ASAP you want to go.Once we get 3-4 people on the trip we can form a “Trip Committee” of sorts and pick the best time for each of us to go.
